Visiting SNU Eye Clinic near Sinsa Station: Doctors, Language Support and Appointments
A guide for first-time visitors to SNU Eye Clinic near Sinsa Station, with information about the doctors, language-specific inquiry channels, clinic hours and last appointment times, and the address. It also covers planning a visit from abroad and arranging how to get home after testing.
SNU Eye Clinic is located on the 3rd and 12th floors of ICT Tower, 624 Gangnam-daero, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, near Sinsa Station. When booking your first visit, tell us which treatment or consultation you are interested in and the language you prefer. Before your visit, check when to stop wearing contact lenses and plan how you will get home after the examination. If you are visiting from abroad, sharing your arrival and departure dates helps us check available dates for your examination, surgery, and follow-up visits.

What information should I provide when booking my first visit?
Please tell us which procedure you are interested in, your preferred consultation language, and the dates you can visit. What you need to prepare and the testing process may differ depending on whether you are inquiring about SMILE, SMILE Pro, or ICL, or seeking care for presbyopia or cataracts.
You can keep your booking inquiry brief, for example:
I’d like to find out whether SMILE Pro or ICL may be suitable options. I wear soft contact lenses and would prefer a consultation in English. I will be in Korea from [month] [day] to [month] [day]. Please let me know when I can have an eye examination and how long I should stop wearing my lenses beforehand.
If you know your current prescription or have results from previous eye examinations, please share them as well. Please also tell us about any previous eye surgery, medicines you take, and conditions you are being treated for when you come in for testing. The information you provide when making an inquiry does not determine which procedure you will have; your eye condition will be assessed during an examination at the clinic.

How can I inquire about consultations in other languages?
If you are visiting from abroad, please first tell us your preferred language. Our inquiry channels are WhatsApp for English and Russian, LINE for Traditional Chinese, and Viber for Mongolian. For inquiries in Korean, you can use the online booking form or call the main number: +82-2-548-0201 (02-548-0201 within Korea).
If you would like to inquire in English, please see the contact information on the SNU Eye Clinic English website. For other languages, ask which contact channel to use when you inquire about booking. Messenger inquiries and interpretation arrangements on the day of your visit may differ, so please let us know which parts of your visit—testing, speaking with a doctor, or discussing surgery—will require language support.
Even if someone accompanies you, you will need to understand the procedure and its precautions yourself. If you need a consultation in a particular language, please confirm your visit date and available times before booking.
What are the appointment times, and where should I go?
Our current clinic hours and last appointment times are listed below. The last appointment time is earlier than the clinic’s closing time, so please note the difference.
| Day | Clinic hours | Last appointment time |
|---|---|---|
| Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday | 09:00–18:00 | 16:30 |
| Saturday | 08:30–14:00 | 12:30 |
| Wednesday, Sunday, public holidays | Closed | Check the closure schedule before booking |
The lunch break is from 13:00 to 14:00. If you would like to have testing and surgery on the same day, please first check how much time the testing will require and whether both can be done that day, rather than simply arriving by the last appointment time.
The address is 3rd and 12th floors, ICT Tower, 624 Gangnam-daero, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. If traveling by subway, check the clinic’s location near Sinsa Station and your route in the booking information. Check your booking information to confirm which floor to go to for registration. There is a mechanical underground car park behind the building, but you may not be able to drive yourself after testing or surgery, so it is best to arrange transport home separately.
For directions and current operating information, see Clinic Hours and Directions (Korean). Please include the treatment or consultation you are interested in, your preferred language, and your visit date in the online booking form (Korean).
